Custom Design and 3D Printing Policy

1. Request review Submitting an idea, model, photograph, drawing or reference does not create an order. BakeIt3D first reviews manufacturability, intended use, material, size, finish, tolerances, quantity and any safety or legal concerns. We may decline work that is infeasible, unsafe, regulated, deceptive, unlawful or outside our equipment and quality controls. 2. Quotation A written quotation states the accepted scope, assumptions, price, material, quantity, estimated production time, delivery method and validity period. Prices can change when dimensions, files, finish, quantity, components or requirements change. Work starts only after the required approval and payment are recorded. 3. Customer approval The customer must review names, spelling, dimensions, orientation, fit assumptions, colour, references and proofs before approval. The latest accepted quotation and proof control the work. BakeIt3D is not responsible for an error that appears clearly in approved information, although we will try to help when a practical correction remains possible. 4. Design and iteration Unless the quotation says otherwise, the price includes only the review and revisions specifically listed. Extra concepts, engineering, file repair, measurement, scanning, test prints or repeated revisions may require a revised quotation. Exploratory work cannot guarantee that every idea will reach production. 5. Additive-manufacturing tolerances 3D prints naturally show layers and may include support marks, seams and small dimensional or colour variation. Fit-critical, load-bearing, outdoor, heat-exposed, food-contact, electrical, medical or child-use applications must be disclosed before quotation. A prototype or test fit may be required. Customer testing does not transfer certification responsibility to BakeIt3D unless a signed agreement expressly says so. 6. Changes and cancellation Requested changes after approval may affect price and schedule and may be impossible after material is prepared or printing begins. Cancellation follows the Cancellation Policy and the approved quotation. Completed design time, procured parts, test work and production already performed may be non-refundable. 7. Components and assembly Where a project includes purchased electronics, lights, magnets, fasteners or other components, the quotation will identify what is included and any customer-supplied parts. Third-party component warranties, certifications and availability remain subject to their manufacturers. Do not connect or use an electrical product contrary to the supplied instructions. 8. Confidentiality and portfolio use We use customer files to review and fulfil the request and restrict access to people and providers who need it. Confidentiality beyond our standard privacy controls requires a written agreement before disclosure.
